Art therapy utilises the creative process to improve and enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It is based on the belief that the act of creating is inherently therapeutic and can help individuals explore emotions, resolve conflicts, develop self-awareness, and manage behaviors.

I provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can express themselves freely through various materials. You do not need any artistic skill or experience to benefit from art therapy. You choose the materials that you want to work with! We do this at a pace that you feel comfortable with.

I gently encourage clients to explore and reflect on the content of their artwork, which often resonates with significant thoughts, emotions, and experiences. This approach mirrors traditional talk therapy, but incorporates the artwork or creative expression as an additional element.

Engaging in this process can assist clients in gaining insights into their emotional landscape, uncovering subconscious patterns, and helping one to navigate challenges more effectively.

Embark on a journey of self-discovery and expression through creative workshops! Perfect for corporate team building, hens or birthday parties, and casual social gatherings, these sessions provide a welcoming space for individuals of all skill levels to explore their creativity. From painting and drawing to embroidery and macrame, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Creative workshops are an enjoyable experience where you can not only hone your artistic skills but also relax, unwind, and connect with others in a supportive atmosphere.

Sessions generally run for 2-3 hours.

All materials are provided.

Psychotherapeutic Reiki blends the practice of Reiki energy healing with psychotherapy (talk or art therapy), offering an integrative approach to healing.

During a Reiki session, the recipient remains clothed while the practitioner gently lays their hands on or slightly above different areas of their body. Reiki energy is channelled through the practitioner’s hands, inducing relaxation and supporting the body’s ability to heal. Recipients often report experiencing sensations like warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation as the energy flows through them.

Reiki sessions can be done on their own or with the addition of psychotherapy prior to receiving Reiki. The exact lengths of psychotherapy and Reiki in a combined session will be determined according to the client’s needs on the day.
